This Program Support Assistant position will serve as Academic Program Coordinator to Pharmacy Service. This Service supports training programs for the American Society of Health System Pharmacists Post Graduate Year 1 & 2 pharmacy residency programs. Each program has a different Residency Program Director as required by the standards of the accrediting bodies for maintaining a clinical practice in the specialty area for the training program.
PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
Major Duties: Demonstrates knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation and production. Ability to communicate with personnel of various backgrounds/authority clearly and concisely. Ability to participate in oral discussions with internal and external customers in order to achieve common purposes and goals. Demonstrate the knowledge of change on people, processes, procedures, leadership and organizational culture. Ability to use office suite applications to create, retrieve, combine, reduce, or tabulate data. Demonstrate the knowledge of change, management principles, strategies and techniques required of effectively planning, implementing and evaluating change in the organization. Ability to identify a need for and know where or how to gather information or information management systems. Ability to identify problems; determine accuracy and relevance of information; use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Demonstrate knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques used to identify, engage, influence, and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to a work effort; including those actively involved, those who exert influence over the process and its results, and those who have a vested interest in the outcome (positive or negative). QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 05/04/2026. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Note: Time-In-Grade requirements also apply to former Federal employees applying for reinstatement as well as current employees applying for Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) appointment. You may qualify based on your experience as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.
