About the Position: Serves as Barracks Facility Manager, participating in the management of housing buildings to provide augmented support to the Army Barracks Management Program (ABMP) located at an Army garrison. This assignment is at a location that has been designated as an unaccompanied tour location by the Department of State. DODEA school services are not available, and school vouchers is not authorized. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
Provides direct, on-site customer service support of the housing management program.
Provides occupancy data for required reports prepared for the supervisor.
Gathers data for new or replacement furniture, appliances and equipment in accordance with established criteria or authorizations.
Provides occupancy data for required reports prepared for the supervisor.
Conducts briefings and training sessions in the absence of the Lead Housing Management Specialist.
Develops housing contingency plans and processes (assignment, termination, maintenance).
Liaises with DPW for maintenance/repairs, tracks work orders via appropriate system.
Conducts facility inspections for quality, repair, and occupancy conditions.
