You will serve as a PROGRAM ASSISTANT (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY of NAVMED OPER TRNG CENTER. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS : You will perform audit functions ensuring credentialing file documents are verified, complete and compliant. You will maintain databases of all pertinent information pertaining of the medical staffs education, training, experience, licensure and board certification. You will provide program assistance in all aspects of the credentialing process,; staff and student check-in, orientation regarding licensing requirements, board certifications, and member certification, and off duty employment restrictions. You will provide training to newly appointed advisors and communicate areas of concern. You will maintain electronic files in accordance with information technology and security guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience utilizing automated systems (e.g., management information system, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) to extract information. Experience assisting with clerical and administrative functions to support the needs of the organization. Experience preparing reports and maintaining documents in electronic files for easy retrieval. Experience providing assistance in all aspects of credentialing processes. Experience performing audit functions for personal medical records.
