Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR II in the GENERAL SERVICES UNIT, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SECTION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
You will plan, assign, and review work for the General Services Unit providing technical guidance to subordinates.
You will plan use of subordinate workers equipment, facilities, and materials while adhering to work priorities, project schedules, resources, detailed work plans, and deadlines established by higher management.
You will ensure compliance with Japan Environmental Governing Standards (JEGS), U.S. Naval Health Department, U.S. Forces Japan and other relevant directives/orders issued by the Marine Corps.
You will serve as General Foreman for employees who perform emergency/service work, programmed maintenance and repair, operation and maintenance of facilities, structures, and utility systems in the performance of the G-F mission and function.
You will participate in a weekly scheduling meeting for the planning of current and future work schedules to include staffing, material, and equipment needs.
You will review and analyze work accomplishments and recommend measures to improve methods, equipment performance, and to increase efficiency of operations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :

The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to supervise through subordinate supervisors assigning tasks over a variety of trades (grounds, labor, construction, Operations, Pest control, etc.) for maintenance / repair work in normal and emergency situations, while serving as the liaison between Operations Section / Reimbursable Customers, ensuing compliance within federal and state environmental standards.
