You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) in the LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, NAVY ENTERPRISE TACTICAL TRAINING NETWORK (NETTN) BRANCH of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV, located in Dam Neck, VA or Point Loma, CA. Salary Range varies per Duty Station: Dam Neck, VA: $108,019 - $165,945 Point Loma, CA: $121,585 - $186,785 The salary range shown above is capped at the GS-13 Step 10 ($140,426 in Dam Neck, VA / $158,062 in Point Loma, CA).
PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist with emphasis on Policy/Planning and Enterprise Architecture for NSWC Corona's management of the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Navy Enterprise Tactical Training Network (NETTN).
You will perform as the subject matter expert applying advanced IT principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices in the accomplishment of assignments.
You will provide expert technical advice and guidance to senior management officials in the application of technology to NETTN Enterprise Architecture (EA).
You will interface with customers (program office, other Commands, Fleet representatives, industry, etc.) to ensure requirements are being satisfied and to identify any fleet training range support requirements.
You will monitor, evaluate, and report on local IT contractor performance, develop and maintain budget requirements, implementation time lines, and projections.
You will enforce compliance of applicable DoD, DoN, command and program applicable regulations and policies in development and maintenance of NETTN.
You will conduct SCI-level discussions with local and national agencies on the current risk and vulnerability posture of the NCTE NETTN Yellow Network and ensure get well plans are developed and executed.
You will respond to emergent requirements from the fleet community and translate them into technical program/project requirements.
You will ensure the network and systems comply with DoD Cyber Security policies and program implementation processes.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and implementing strategies, plans, and processes for managing information resources, redesigning business systems, and ensuring IT capacity aligns with organizational missions and future requirements.
