About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Financial Operations Directorate and is located in Falls Church, Virginia. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
Serve as Program Analyst for the Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS).
Advise and assist supervisors and employees on civilian pay/leave matters.
Field inquiries of a technical nature involving payroll maintenance and data input into ATAAPS, providing technical assistance to timekeepers and certifying officials.
Act as one of the primary point of contact for employees experiencing problems with payroll and coordinate with the Timekeepers to resolve issues.
Serve as a member of the Payroll Team and assist with planning, developing, reviewing, coordinating and promulgating policies and procedures.
Assess contractor and government agency activities in support of the delivery of payroll reporting.
Ensure modifications to payroll systems are consistent with payroll and financial regulations, appropriations laws.
