You will serve as a COMMAND SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the G-1 of USMC RECRUITING COMMAND. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS : You will prepare correspondence ensuring proper assembly, completeness, address, spelling, punctuation, and correctness of figures prior to forwarding for signature. You will maintain office files in a manner that allows others to locate material expeditiously. You will manage the Automated Message Handling System and prepare, review, and release messages that are in compliance with regulations and correctness of format. You will manage and coordinate staffing and tracking of the ETMS2 tasks received and ensures each section submits timely and accurate responses. You will manage regular awards program and special awards programs using Improved Awards Processing System that fall under the awarding authority. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: managing executive-level military administrative operations; utilizing automated enterprise systems (such as ETMS2, AMHS, and iAPS) to coordinate command taskers, message traffic, and personnel awards; managing directives and forms programs (e.g., via MCEITS); and preparing, reviewing, and formatting official military correspondence in compliance with DoD/DoN regulations.
