You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT, C41- INTEGRATED COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION and C42 - BALLISITIC MISSILE DEFENSE TEST AND EVALUATION of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
You will lead test projects aboard Navy ships testing combat systems, weapon systems, and missiles as the single point of contact for all shipboard activities for the event.
You will define, plan, and execute critical projects which are complex and involve multiple disciplines and organizations both internal and off station, including contractors.
You will provide both expert consultant system services and technical assistance related to In-Service Engineering (ISE), operations, testing, evaluation, maintenance, and repair of the AEGIS Combat System.
You will understand and formulate the overall objectives and details requirements, provides project planning, and monitors progress.
You will participate in all planning meetings and provides engineering services to support development of test event scenarios, execution plans, and test plans.
You will identify, schedule, and coordinate all air, lndo and Exo atmospheric, surface, and subsurface requirements as required for the associated test events.
You will apply project and budget management principles to technical and programmatic elements to meet overall objectives.
You will serve as a technical expert for ISE issues related to the AEGIS Combat System (ACS), particularly related to overall evaluation of the associated test event.
You will perform analysis and investigate issues/ Test Observation Reports (TORs) discovered during testing/operations, and participates in resolution of combat system problems.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, executing and reporting Combat System test events to implement operational, maintenance, and test and evaluation processes to ensure the efficient and effective execution of ship warfare readiness objectives.
