About the Position: Serves as a Property Book Officer with the USACE Logistics Management Office, managing accountability and life cycle of organizational property, maintaining records in automated systems, ensuring compliance, and supporting property operations across multiple locations. Recruitment is being conducted at the full performance level only; applicants will be considered only at the target grade.
PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
Plan and manage property accountability operations for assigned organizations to ensure proper tracking and control of equipment and supplies.
Develop and implement property management procedures to support life cycle management of organizational assets.
Maintain property records using automated systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct inventories and internal control reviews to verify accountability and identify discrepancies.
Analyze property data to resolve issues and improve property management processes.
Provide guidance and training to staff on property accountability policies and procedures.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
