This position is located at Departmental Offices,Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a Director - Technology Advisor, you will analyze and oversee aspects within the area of Intelligence and Analysis pertaining to the technology innovation program and also oversees OIA's Office of Information and Technology section(s) consisting of either cloud and innovation, or on premise related network maintenance. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS : Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. As a Director - Technology Advisor, you will: Oversee, develop and manage innovation, network maintenance, technology-specific and other OIA IT program areas pertaining to communication, management support and resources for conducting OIA's mission, which has national security and foreign policy impact and a direct and vital effect on the well-being of the public, in that the work furthers U.S. foreign policy goals in sanctioned foreign states and help prevent the funding of terrorism. Exercise program leadership, develop plans and policies, establish priorities and evaluates innovation program effectiveness. Develop major aspects of regulatory and policy development for the innovation and cloud program within the OIA, which impacts Departmental Offices' operations for OIA programs and facilitates DO's accomplishment of its primary mission for programs of national significance that receive frequent and continuing congressional or media attention. Supervise a team within Office of Information and Technology, plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES : You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Leading or managing programs or initiatives, including planning work, setting priorities, and evaluating outcomes to support organizational goals. AND Developing, implementing, or providing guidance on policies, procedures, or program requirements within an IT, analytical, or operational environment. AND Coordinating or leading projects or initiatives that involve multiple stakeholders, including providing input to program goals, strategies, or deliverables. AND Supervising or leading staff, including assigning work, managing priorities, and evaluating performance. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
