This position is located at Departmental Offices,Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. As a SUPERVISORY SECURE COMMUNICATIONS & CONTINUITY INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT PROGRAMS OFFICER, you will advance national security and protect financial integrity by informing Treasury decisions with timely, relevant, and accurate intelligence and analysis.
PRINCIPALES MISSIONS :
Pursuant to 50 USC 3024 (v), and with concurrence and consultation with the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, this position is being established in the excepted service as an element of the Intelligence Community within the Department of the Treasury. As a SUPERVISORY SECURE COMMUNICATIONS & CONTINUITY INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT PROGRAMS OFFICER, you will: Manage the Department's secure communications and continuity intelligence support. The incumbent is expected to fulfill all identified duties and responsibilities 24x7x365 when requested. Serve as the technical authority and be responsible for providing technical secure communications support for senior Treasury leadership, to include the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and other identified Treasury and USG senior leadership, to include both secure and private voice, data, and video services; providing secure communications for Treasury's senior leadership named above with the President, Vice President, other Cabinet Agency Heads, and other identified national and international leaders as circumstances dictate, regardless of worldwide locations. Continually keep current with all new technology, new equipment, and services necessary in support of mobile and installed communications systems. Be responsible for plans, procedures, testing, troubleshooting, reviews, and resolution of past testing failures for all mandated secure communications tests conducted by Treasury or other USG organizations. Represents the Department on continuity-related meetings, exercises, conferences, and joint USG support operations.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-15, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Demonstrated professional experience with the U.S. Intelligence Community and its entities and respective functions; AND Experience updating Continuity of Operations (COOP)/Continuity of Government (COG) plans, policies, procedures, and postures; AND Experience testing, procuring, evaluating, and maintaining secure communications related equipment; AND Experience briefing or traveling with senior executive-level officials: AND Experience processing and disseminating sensitive intelligence, classified, or national security information. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
