You will serve as a OFFICE AUTOMATION ASSISTANT in the INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE DEPARTMENT of NMRTC CAMP LEJEUNE NC. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS : You will perform mailroom duties that involve the control, processing, and delivery of classified and unclassified mail. You will perform time and attendance and labor reporting for civilian employees in the Command Support Services Department. You will perform a variety of clerical support functions for the office. You will maintain a computer database in Excel, Microsoft Access, or similar program to keep data current. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES : Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience in demonstrating different priorities, duties, policies, commitments, and program goals of the organization and its subordinate units to perform assignments, such as reviewing publications, directives, and other information; Experience in applying capabilities, operating characteristics, and advanced functions of various computer software and systems (such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel, ATAAPS, Windows, DOEHRS-IH etc.); Experience in executing of the organizational functions and appropriate procedures to perform administrative type duties. This also requires knowledge of the procedures applicable to the control, authorization, securing, and justification of services in support of the department; Experience in applying scientific terms and notations (chemical names, measurement units, engineering terminology, biological and medical terminology); general understanding of structure and requirements of Navy public health programs; Experience utilizing the Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual in addition to specific formats for reports, tables of results and requests for sample analysis Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=GS-CLER Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
