Recreation Assistant NF-02

This announcement will be used to fill two distinct job openings on Fort Greely, AK. Intermittent Role (Aurora Community Activity Center) Schedule: Intermittent. Hours are based entirely on facility needs with no guaranteed minimum hours per week. Regular Part-Time Role (Physical Fitness Center) Schedule: Guaranteed 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work up to 39 hours based on operational requirements. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. PRINCIPALES MISSIONS : Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints. Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc. Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES : Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Possess at least six (6) months of work or volunteer experience that involved dealing with the general public.
